Canadian has a U.S. fiancee or is Considering Marriage to a U.S. Citizen/Married Already:

We can help, please contact us by completing our contact us form or give us a call at 406-373-9828

If you are reading this part of page you thinking about getting married to United States citizen or are already married and want to understand how you can come to the United States to be with your spouse. In my experience, it is far better to be in the position of considering marriage rather than being married when seeking immigration advice. A couple has more immigration options before marriage than after it. Regardless, we have helped married people and those considering marriage with immigration so that they spend the least amount of time apart. We can clearly explain all the options to you both so you can make an informed decision that suits you.

Entry into The United States from Canada: You can’t get in

We can help, please contact us by completing our contact us form or give us a call at 406-373-9828

Many Canadians call us because they set out for a destination inside the United States from Canada, either by air or car, and upon being checked by U.S. immigration office, a Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officer they are denied admission. The CBP refuse to let them into the United States on the grounds that they are inadmissible. This means that something like criminal conviction stops the person from being admitted. While this might seem strange to you, Canada does exactly the same thing, many U.S. citizens are not eligible for entry into Canada due to criminal convictions, even very old ones.

Canadians are often surprised by this problem because after a certain period of time they might be eligible for a pardon in Canada for offenses on their criminal records. If they received a pardon for a crime, how come the United States is using it against them. The simple answer is that the United States does not recognize the simple pardon process as erasing the offense. But all is not lost, the United States provides  a waiver process to all those people who cannot be admitted into the United States a chance to visit.

Immigration Law of Montana, P.C. has prepared many successful waiver applications allowing Canadians who where not eligible to enter the  United States to come and visit. We review your case and offer you our professional opinion on your eligibility for a waiver based on your particular circumstances. Our help will start with a strategy session. Please contact us if this interests you.

We can help you understand how to system work, and exactly what is involved in satisfying the United States Department of State so you can receive the investment visa. The best way to begin your journey to an investment visa is to have a strategy session. Please contact us for one.
